Corners of My Home...

Thought I'd share some "corners of my home" photos and descriptions with you all.
Of course..this is how it looks now..but I'm always changing things around from time to time...ha.
Anyhow..thought I'd share a few peeks into my home.
First..this is my entry way......> with my entry display table..a small table that my husband made several years ago.
The walls in the hallway are all a minty green color with the wallpaper in a parchment color with the apple tree type print.

------------------Around the corner from the entry and just past the office area(actually a tiny living room area that we coverted into our "office") is my pantry areas..I have 2 pantry doors with shelving areas behind the doors on this wall. I set up a tiny table with some milk bottles in a crate..the crate my husband just found and bought for me several days ago at the antique mall downtown. My daughter made the gourd ducks several years ago. The sunflowers are inside of an old milking pail.---------------------------
My kitchen area. I love birds and my kitchen has alot of bird related items and small plants here and there. I put 2 small framed mirrors above my stove also to create a feeling of more space.

-----------------------
Right above the kitchen counter/bar area is an area of wall in the dining room area..I have put some of my vintage look signs on the wall and a shelf with 2 Amish looking dolls

-----------------------
In the dining area we have an antique buffet with mirror that I store my tea cup collection and vintage aprons as well as some of my display items in. On the buffet is where I like to create small vignettes , I change this area out about every few months..and around each Holiday I try to create a themed display.
Right now the theme is "farm life".
But up above the mirror on the buffet I have some antique lace with small metal floral pears and mini birds and a garden type print.
--------------------------
Leading into the living room and directly past the pantry area... is a tiny alcove area where I keep a cupboard with our homeschool supplies, but up on the top of that is a fun display area and hanging on the wall is a shelf of tea cups... there is a hook in the ceiling from which one of my all time favorites hangs..a vintage look pedal bike airplane piece..I love it..it is so whimisical!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Directly past the dining area are our french doors and living room area..I do have plans to paint all the dark panelling a white color..one day. As you can tell I do like a burgundy red color throughout areas of my home.
The quilt is directly to the left of the French doors in the living room.

Then we have the fireplace area in the living room..I set a Norman Rockwell farm style print over the fireplace. And part of my little dutch shoe collection near the fireplace and a vintage churn crock.
Then here is the opposite side of my living room near the garage door.
This wall is where our couch sits..facing the french doors.
On this wall I put some more of my vintage look signs and a small quilted piece and a farm wife print. Fun! Fun!

Well...there you have it..."the grande tour"..ha.
Hope you enjoyed a peek into my home.
Hope you all have a lovely evening!
Thanks for joining me in "blogland"

A nice tour! I have an urn or churn or whatever very similar to yours, use it for umbrellas.
