Oh Man would that pretty pillow look fabulous on the shabby bed in my guest room. I try to show my love all 365 days of the year but Valentine's is extra special. It's the only day of the year that I make a cherry cheesecake for my DH. Sounds silly I know but it's tradition. ~ Lynn

Well, I guess because it is all about love. For one day of the year everyone gets gushy and silly and give each other wonderful things. Like flowers and candy and hugs and all those good things. Like the pillow lots.

My favorite bits of Valentine's Day aren't the chocolate and roses parts, but rather the very sweet hugs and kisses that come on construction paper from my kids's schools.

Thank You for such a lovely Giveaway! I just LOVE everything Victorian.

****Valentines Day has been more to me than just another day since I was married in February of 2001. My husband and I were friends in college and met through a classmate we both new. I had every intention of leaving the country to live in England when I felt something just wasn't right. I ended up back in the U.S. and a short time after I felt God pulling my heart strings, then a few months after that, a friend gave me such a lasting Gift, The Bible, a couple months from there, I was told live on the air that my friend has loved me while dj'ing on his Christian radio station.

February was the first time I knew God, Fell inlove, and one year later married my husband. I had spent most of my life running away from love because I had been hurt way too often by the people I loved. But in the month of February, I came to know and love my Lord and Savior who hand-picked the man who would one day love me for who I am and walk beside me during the struggles. Valentines Day mean Hope to me, Renewal, and Unconditional love even beyond the chocolate, champagne, jewlery and nights in a bed & breakfast. We have very little, but we love very much. My Cup Runneth Over!

what a cool giveaway. I'll be happy to leave a link on my blog even without a giveaway. I love your blog. Oh, and what I love about Valentine's Day? I guess my favorite part is the memory I have of my gramma's sugar cookies, iced in pink with little red hots embedded in the icing.... oh, taking those to the Valentine party at school was always such a proud little moment... and then she'd send me a box at college... Valentine's Day makes me miss my gramma more than my husbands... haha... how's that to ruin the holiday moment? ahem!

Valentine's Day is that one day out of the year where men show their soft sides and where women go all mushy. It's the time that when just me and my hubby sneak off for the weekend and I take him somewhere he has never been.It is also the time where sells are up on flowers, candy and stuff animals. And let's not forget enagement rings. All I know is that on Valentine's Day, I'm very thankful for the husband that I have got and that cupid decided to shoot his arrow toward me and boo.
Hope you and yours have a blessed day.l

I've always loved Valentine's Day, even when I was single, though not for the celebration of love. Back then, as now I love all the heart decorations. Now that I'm married, I love how it's the only holiday that celebrates marriage.

Chocolate, I love Valentines Day because of all the extra lovely dark chocolate I can consume. LOL

I also love it because I brought my 15 yr old home from the hospital the day before Valentines, she was/is my little Valentine.

This year, I am having fun buying Valentines for friends that I didn' even have last year! Maybe next year I'll be organized enough to MAKE Valentines! Hmmmm!

To me Everyday is Valentines Day being married to my High School sweet heart! We don't fuss mutch, thou he does "surprize" me by bringing me my coffee & stashing some chocolates, he has even resorted to puting M&M's on my pillow...not the best of ideas, wish he had left them in the bag! lol!
Thanx for inviting me to this giveaway & I luv your blog..

Oh what fun ...a GIVEAWAY!

Well, what I enjoy most about Valentine's Day is having a romantic dinner with my sweetie. Our favorites are when we pretend we own our own cafe or bistro and set up the dining area as though it were true. Then serve the person as though he/she were a restaurant attendee. So much fun!

Some years we decide to venture out into the cold to a real restaurant...but it is not as much fun! Relaxing, but not the same!

I love Valentine's Day for the chocolate, a card and flowers. My husband is really nice. We really don't make a big deal out of it though. We do the exchange thing and then it's over. Eating out is too crowded!!

Thanks for the invite!

What I enjoy most about Valentine's Day is that it is one day set aside that reminds us to take time to show our significant other how much they mean to us.
