A Day of Relaxation...and Winners of Art work...

So..after a day of painting and subsequent sore muscles..I took the day off..sorta..I did weed out part of one of the raised beds, and pulled all the spent broccoli plants out of the garden, held the duckling for a little bit then put her in her plastic tub to swim..and a few other piddly things..but..I didn't paint today..I shall resume that task later.

------------
Oh, and see the photo? It is of a gloriosa lily..I am fortunate to own one of these wonderful plants..that comes back every year at this time..they are really pretty vining lillies and the cool thing about them is that the flower looks like it has completely turned itself inside out.Very unique and very pretty, but... all parts of the plant are poisonous/so..if you decide to have one around your place..please exercise caution around small children and pets.---------------------------
Now..to announce the winners of the Folk Art prints. They are:

1. Irma

2. Sue

3. Mary Beth

4. Jeanie

Are you moving to the Ocala area? What a beautiful location, plus the soil is far better there for gardening.

I am so happy for you all. Hopefully your home will sell quickly. It gets old really fast having perspective buyers constantly come and go. How exciting!

Gorgeous flower photos! Beautiful blog. Sounds like you are so on a roll with your painting, and balancing it with your garden. Awesome. So glad you came by my blog, and signed up for the give away. I couldn't agree with you more, when it comes to pinks and turquoise! Great to meet you. Have a super week-end. :-)
