A few fun mail items...thanks Lea and Gayla

I recently won 2 blog contests ..wow!... me??..yeah me..shock of shocks! I hardly ever win anything..so to win 2 drawings was/is pretty cool.

I entered a Cottage Charm drawing over at Gayla's blog "Oatmeal and Whimsy" http://oatmealandwhimsy.blogspot.com/
and won a drawing for a prim bunny over at Lea's blog "Farm House Blessing"
Thank you both so much! It made for a real fun mail day.
------------
Gayla's gift consisted of a chunky cake candle that looks absolutely yummy, some tea, some coffee, a vintage yellow tulip cloth,a tin star, and a small journal,a bar of orange spice soap, and a small bottle of Bath and Body works soap.
Thanks Gayla.
--------
Lea's gift was a darling primitive bunny /cinnamon scented with a large cloth carrot and a tag that reads "God planted a Garden"
So cute!
Thanks Lea.

Miss Marigold has grown up....

Well..I thought I ought to show you all how little "Miss Marigold" has just grown up on us.

She is now a month old and quite a big girl now..almost fully feathered out. She loves swimming in her big plastic bin.(a big black bin that is usually sold at hardware stores for potting bench inserts for mixing soil)

She just likes to strut her stuff around our yard. She's our pretty little gal("live yard ornament"..ha)
----------

Then..this pretty red rose was blooming against the courtyard fence the other day.

I hope that today brings for you alloy..alot of the precious little moments that make for a beautiful day.Take time to stop and smell the roses and to enjoy the journey.

A few more neat finds...

Oh be still my beating heart...oh me oh my..Etsy can be addictive.

Well..I went and done it again..found some darling, darling treasures for the upcoming new house..and ooh aren't they just delightful?

The pillow covers and table cloth will be slated for use in the living room area where I will have a aqua blue sofa.
Then I found a darling little schnauzer statuette vintage..it's just too cute. Then a silhouette print and a duck print and a vintage Kate greenaway print..all too cute.
------------- I'll be able to have some darling antique type items in my decor..and all at very reasonable prices too.
--------------------And I can't wait until I get to see all of these pretties in person.
I'm waiting for them all to arrive on my doorstep./in my mailbox.
oooh fun mail!
Anyhow..the good thing about my new finds is that they do not take up much room and I can tuck them away for the new place without them taking up much room right now.
--------
Well..I hope you all have a good day.
Thanks for stopping by.

Then went to an old book store and found some other vintage kids books..and in amongst those an older copy of "The Story of Ferdinand"
I absolutely loved the story of Ferdinand the bull when I was a kid..I loved the illustrations in the book.
Some of the books I found today have absolutely gorgeous illustrations.
Fun! Fun!
I will have to scan some in later and use them in art work.

I am hoping that when we find our new home that I am able to create a small crafting area...somewhere in the house for myself to be able to do all the fun crafting things I envision.
