Cool. I like to find old books that are damaged and no longer readable. I use the illustrations in collages. Don't have a lot of time to do them anymore though.
I can't believe you only paid a $1 or less! That "Bob" book -- WOW! And the Book House book has to be absolutely glorious. I adore kids books. These are real finds!
