I had some loose peacock feathers that I wanted to use around the print..but needed a large enough frame to accomplish my goal..well I finally found a frame that would work and completed the image.
Anyhow..I found a website that tells a little about peacocks..thought you'd enjoy looking at it and sharing the images with your kids.(The website is from the San Diego Zoo)
Enjoy!

I want to wish you all a lovely day!

Hey Tina, so good to hear from you! The last time I popped in here blogger wouldn't let me leave a comment so I quit after a few trys, I hate it when blogger is cranky! Your so crafty and I love the ideas you come up with! How's the house coming along? We need to catch up, I read the farmgirl forums but that's about it, miss it too but it's enough to keep up with my blog, but winter is coming....
ReplyDeleteHey Tina, I love your Peacock Lady picture..very nice with the added touch of feathers.

these are lovely!
ReplyDeleteI used to rasie peafowl, they are fun birds to watch and so beautiful to have roaming around the yard!
ReplyDeletealoha Tina, been off the networking a bit. So happy you checked in. Love peacocks too. They are wild here and sit on the roof of ones house and make a noise. Very piquant legend about them.
ReplyDeleteThey used to roam in different royal palace gardens in the 1800s.
The exquisite Princess Kaiolani died suddenly at age of 23 I believe, she had caught the flu out riding. The way the Hawaiians knew the sad tidings was because the peacocks suddenly started calling out all over the Islands. They knew there was sad news.
