The village and dining table decor and fireplace...

I display a small Christmas village on the buffet in the dining area. I also like to use a silver tiered server and fill it with christmas balls on the dining table and center it into a wreath and top with a pretty bow. I also fill the fireplace stoop with snowmen of all types, musical ones, fiber optic ones. Lots of fun and sparkles. The french door drapes have a large paper snowflake pinned to each drape.

I LOVE your penny rug..I have made some runners and just got a kit for a Christmas runner that will have to be displayed next year at this point. It is such fun to embroider on wool felt!!

  8. dragging out the Christmas decor and deciding what to decorate with for that particular year usually takes about half the day..ha. That's why we go ahead and start usually the day after Thanksgiving and leave the decor up until the first of the year.
Get as much use out of it as we can.
